labellist is an independent index of 364 clothing labels. It exists to answer two questions honestly: what to look at next, and whether the label you already love is worth it.

The rules
- Brands can't pay their way in. No label pays to be listed, ranked, or scored, and nothing here is sponsored.
- Shop links never touch scores. If a link ever earns a commission, it will change nothing about a score, a rank, or which labels appear.
- Every change is dated. Re-scores, new labels, and corrections are recorded on the Editions page.
How labellist makes money
labellist earns nothing from the labels it lists: no affiliate links, no placement fees, no sponsorships. If that changes, this page and the methodology will say so first.
How the scores work
Every label is scored for quality, design, reputation, and price, and placed on three style spectra. The methodology explains each score, and the editions record shows what changed, and when.
